This month, we traveled to new places as well as spots we know like the back of our hand. From ACTE Best Practices in St. Louis to the GA STEM/STEAM Forum in Athens, Georgia and LHRIC in New York, we connected with old friends and made new ones. And this week we are in UT and HI for some amazing App Camps, PDs, and conferences!

The deadline to register for the Congressional App Challenge is coming up! Students have until October 30, 2025 to register.

At MAD-learn, we’re always striving to improve and Makaha Elementary School Computer Science Teacher, Danielle Steger, has been an incredible partner in that mission. Thanks to her patience, insight, and analytical mindset, we’re implementing platform updates that will benefit teachers and students everywhere.
Danielle also witnessed a powerful transformation in one of her students, a learner who hadn’t been engaged until she introduced app creation. Once he discovered he could build an app about his passion- fishing – everything changed. His excitement and creativity took off as he shared his enthusiasm through his very own mobile app. We love seeing how innovative educators like Danielle empower students to find their voices through MAD-learn!

… checking out these talented students and the pride they have in the apps they built this week at the Utah Valley University App Camp in Wasatch, UT.
