Holiday #appsthatmatter Grant 2021 sponsored by MAD-learn

The holiday season is a perfect time to reflect and seek out ways to make life better for those around us. In the spirit of giving, MAD-learn is thrilled to announce the Holiday #appsthatmatter Grant!

This grant opportunity is for teachers (Grades 3-10), who wish to empower their students to brainstorm ideas, plan, design, build, test and launch their very own apps either by collaborating in teams or working on individual projects. It is a great opportunity to create meaningful STEM projects through app development.

Click here to apply for this special Holiday #appsthatmatter Grant, sponsored by MAD-learn.  If selected, grant winners will receive a classroom set of MAD-learn licenses along with virtual PD for the Spring 2022 semester (a $1,475 value).

What is MAD-learn?

MAD-learn stands for Mobile App Development for every classroom. This web-based tool empowers teachers—not just technology teachers—to engage students in app development, from a book review app in English class to a drawing app in Art class. Using the design-thinking process, MAD-learn prepares today’s students for tomorrow’s careers. Students use this powerful tool to easily build mobile apps to serve their community, solve problems, build entrepreneurship skills, and share ideas with the world. Coding skills are optional to use MAD-learn. Best of all, students get to build a working app, complete with their own visual design and content that is ready to be viewed on their iOS or Android device. The MAD-store mobile app, which is MAD-learn’s version of the App Store, allows the world to view student-made mobile apps. Download it now to see and use apps that students around the world have made.
